This part-time role, offering up to 20 hours per week at a competitive rate starting at $18.72 per hour, involves maintaining and updating the gallery website and social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The Paraprofessional will be responsible for editing site content, adding event blogs, managing a virtual gallery, and implementing enhancements to ensure a dynamic and user-friendly experience. Troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining communication with the server vendor are also critical aspects of the job. Social media management tasks include posting timely event updates, sharing relevant community news, growing the follower base, monitoring post engagement, and promoting posts for broader reach.
Additionally, the position supports gallery events and community engagement activities, fostering connections between the college and the wider Michiana area. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in web programming or experience with WIX platforms, proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, and some college coursework or community experience related to software development or visual communications.
