iHeartMedia stands as the number one audio company in America, pioneering the audio revolution with a vast reach that touches 90 percent of Americans every month. This impressive audience size is twice that of any other audio company, nearly three times larger than the biggest TV network, and almost four times that of the largest ad-supported music streaming service. Being a leader in the audio industry, iHeartMedia boasts more number one rated markets than its next two largest competitors combined, establishing its dominance in radio and audio programming nationwide. The company is also the largest podcast publisher, with monthly downloads surpassing the combined totals of the second and third largest publishers. This growth in podcasting, the fastest-growing new media sector, is significant, given that podcast monthly users now outnumber those of major streaming music services and even Netflix. iHeartMedia is home to numerous beloved and trusted on-air personalities and podcast influencers who foster significant connections with the communities they serve across America. Additionally, iHeartMedia produces high-profile branded live music events like the iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and iHeartCountry Festival, reinforcing its cultural presence in the country. iHeartRadio, the company's flagship streaming service, is the top streaming radio digital service in America. The brand also maintains a powerful social media presence, with a footprint seven times larger than its nearest audio competitor. Its unique and comprehensive audio ad technology stack spans on-demand audio, broadcast radio, digital streaming radio, and podcasting. This technology integrates data, targeting, and attribution for all audio forms on a massive scale, supporting effective sales strategies and delivering successful client outcomes more efficiently than other options. Diversity and community representation are core to iHeartMedia's mission. The company is committed to a variety of programming that reflects the cultures and backgrounds of the audiences it reaches. Internally, iHeartMedia fosters an inclusive culture that values collaboration, curiosity, and respect for all employees. The company encourages learning from mistakes and welcomes diverse perspectives to drive innovation. The Promotions & Events Planner role is a vital position within iHeartMedia’s vibrant Indianapolis radio market team. As part of the promotions and marketing departments, the planner will oversee promotional activities and marketing efforts for several local radio stations, helping to execute station promotional plans and generate sales opportunities. This full-time hourly position requires flexibility in working nights, holidays, and weekends to support live events and promotional activities. Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating major promotional events from concept to completion, collaborating across departments to execute street team activities such as remotes and van hits, and managing client interactions during event planning and execution. The planner will prepare contest rules, waivers, and release forms, manage a promotion scheduling system, and ensure accurate tracking of contests and prizes. Additionally, the planner assists in hiring and training part-time promotional staff and supervises prize inventories and award distribution at events. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, project management experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and social media platforms, and strong communication abilities. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move moderately heavy items is also necessary. This role provides an exciting opportunity to engage with a leading audio company that values innovation, diversity, and community engagement, delivering impactful experiences through music, on-air talent, and live events in Indianapolis and beyond. iHeartMedia supports its employees with comprehensive benefits, fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace where employees can thrive and grow their careers.
