Bartlett Cocke General Contractors currently seeks a Project Administrator to join their vibrant team in College Station, TX. This opportunity offers an employment type that typically involves standard office hours with occasional requirements for non-normal work hours, including some nights and weekends. The Project Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Team under the direction of the Project Manager. This role requires a highly organized individual who can manage a variety of administrative tasks to facilitate smooth project operations. Responsibilities include typing and drafting correspondence and memos, performing receptionist duties, organizing and maintaining job site filing systems, processing invoices, and logging subcontracts, change orders, insurance documents, and other contractual items. The Project Administrator will also handle office communications such as copying, faxing, emailing, scheduling courier services, and maintaining office supplies and equipment. In addition, the person fills an important function in assisting with project start-up and close-out procedures and following up with subcontractors to ensure timely processing of documents. This position demands proficiency in computer skills, including MS Excel for spreadsheet management, MS Word, and MS Outlook for communication and documentation purposes. Preferred applicants will have experience in construction companies and familiarity with specialized software such as Textura pay application software and project management tools like Viewpoint or Constructware. The role is dynamic and may require flexibility to work outside normal hours to meet project deadlines and company needs.
