Currently, Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled and dynamic General Manager to lead one of its multi-million dollar business units. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding the hotel's market presence by providing strong leadership and implementing unparalleled customer service initiatives. The General Manager will be entrusted with balancing strategic planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment. Success in this position is measured by the ability to develop team cohesion, maximize associate potential, and aggressively grow market share, especially by attracting new prospects from local competitors.
This leadership position demands a proactive approach to engaging with hotel ownership, key company leaders, and corporate staff to ensure alignment with Crestline's business objectives. The General Manager will have a direct impact on revenue growth and guest satisfaction by adhering to Crestline's key performance indicators such as Revenue Index, Flex/Flow optimization, and Guest Satisfaction scores. Additionally, the role requires the development of comprehensive staff optimization plans, ensuring that all employees, particularly new leaders, are equipped with the tools and knowledge to deliver exceptional service within their first thirty days.
The successful candidate will also develop strong working relationships with sales teams, including onsite sales personnel, regional sales directors, and corporate sales and marketing leaders. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills, efficient operational management, and a strategic mindset to successfully lead the hotel to new heights of profitability and customer loyalty. The position offers a competitive salary starting at $80,000 per year, with base pay commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience. - Previous 2+ years of General Manager experience within a busy Select Service Hotel required
- or 4+ years as an Assistant General Manager
- Computer and office skills required
- ability to communicate effectively through email and handle spreadsheets and databases
- Experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
- Premium brand experience highly preferred
- Hotel experience required
