The Production Flight Test Level 1 position at Teal Drones is a vital role within the Flight Operations team. This full-time position is designed for individuals interested in developing a career in UAS flight testing and evaluation. As an entry-level role, it offers exposure to the end-to-end process of conducting comprehensive flight tests, performing pre-flight inspections, analyzing system performance, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and development, contributing directly to the safety, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction of Teal's drone systems. The primary responsibilities include executing flight tests to evaluate UAS systems for performance and reliability, maintaining and operating various types of sUAS, and meticulously documenting flight data such as logs, sensor outputs, photographs, and videos. This role demands a thorough understanding of sUAS platforms, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks to ensure all operations are conducted under strict compliance with federal guidelines.
