We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Front Office Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This position plays a vital role in upholding the company's mission to exude hospitality and create positive impacts in every interaction. The Front Office Manager will act as the "Service Champion" for the Front Office, foster a positive guest relations atmosphere, and ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments like Housekeeping and Valet Parking. As a leader, this role involves monitoring room statuses, rates, and packages, coordinating room blocking, reviewing staffing to meet guest service levels and financial goals, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement through guest feedback and employee input.
Additional responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and disciplining direct reports, managing employee schedules, overseeing VIP arrivals, and acting as the Manager on Duty when required. The role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary and performing various other duties to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a similar leadership position, such as a front desk supervisor or assistant front office manager, and possess a minimum of a high school education, with post-secondary education preferred.
Strong leadership skills, effective verbal and written communication, excellent time management, and comprehensive knowledge of hotel front desk operations are essential for success in this role.
