The Flight Monitor role within Amazon Prime Air is a pivotal position centered on real-time oversight of drone operations to ensure compliance with operational guidelines and safety regulations. This full-time role focuses heavily on monitoring multiple active drone flights within designated regions using advanced flight monitoring systems. The Flight Monitor is responsible for promptly identifying any deviations from established flight paths or operational parameters and coordinating immediate response strategies to mitigate risks. Maintaining adherence to FAA regulations and company safety protocols is a core responsibility, underscoring the importance of regulatory knowledge and precision in daily operations. Primary duties include continuous situational analysis, incident reporting, and collaboration with technical teams to drive ongoing operational improvements. Compensation for this role varies based on geographic location and experience, ranging from $62,800 to $138,700 annually.
