The role of Prepared Foods Team Supervisor at Whole Foods Market involves assisting with the scheduling, supervision, and daily operations of the Prepared Foods department. This position supports both the Team Leader and Associate Team Leaders in ensuring the team functions smoothly and efficiently. As a supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance of attractive, well-stocked food displays including prepared foods, coffee, and juices. The position requires creating a positive customer experience by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service while also enforcing compliance with store policies and health and safety regulations. The role includes training new team members, fostering teamwork, and encouraging a positive working environment that motivates team members to perform at their best. This supervisory position requires excellent organizational skills, leadership, and a thorough understanding of operational procedures within a retail food setting. In addition to these responsibilities, the Prepared Foods Team Supervisor must remain aware of customer needs and workflows to ensure timely service that delights customers. The supervisor plays a vital role in staff development by selecting, training, mentoring, and providing performance evaluations. The team supervisor is charged with upholding Whole Foods Market’s vision and goals by consistently communicating and modeling these values. This full-time, hourly position offers a wage range of $15.50 to $29.20 per hour, based on experience.
