The Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead at Sam's Club is a pivotal role focused on driving sales and supervising a team responsible for creating and serving meals to members. The Department Lead acts as both a leader and expert, guiding the team through daily work rotations, managing production processes, facilitating training, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as the lead works closely with team members, other department leaders, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations and a high-quality member experience. As a Department Lead, you will utilize digital tools and handheld technology to analyze business data, make informed decisions about production, and enhance the shopping experience.
