The Kitchen Prep/Salad Bar Attendant at Ruby Tuesday plays a critical support role within the Heart of House team responsible for preparing ingredients essential to Ruby Tuesday’s recipes and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the Garden Bar and dish machine area. This multi-functional position requires attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation, adherence to safety standards, and active participation in daily cleaning and maintenance procedures. The role involves washing, cutting, dicing, and assembling ingredients, as well as restocking and maintaining attractive food presentation on the Garden Bar to ensure guests have constant access to fresh selections. The attendant must follow Ruby Tuesday’s specific safety protocols and food quality standards to minimize waste and spoilage while maximizing food safety. In addition, the position involves cleaning duties that extend beyond food preparation areas to include sanitizing restrooms, floors, and exterior areas around the restaurant, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Due to the physical demands of the position, employees must be capable of lifting significant weights and standing for extended periods, highlighting the importance of stamina and physical fitness. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required to meet the operational needs of the restaurant.
