The position available at Hyatt Regency within the TPG Hotels, Resorts & Marinas family is for a Line Cook. This role is fundamental to the daily success of any hospitality food and beverage operation. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing quality food in a cost-effective and safe manner while adhering strictly to proper food handling, preparation policies, and brand standards. This position demands attention to compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. In addition to food preparation, the Line Cook is expected to report all emergencies, accidents, injuries, and safety hazards promptly to management, ensuring a safe workplace for all team members and guests.
This role involves a variety of culinary tasks, ranging from preparing and portioning ingredients accurately to cooking and grilling diverse menus that include meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces with precision. The Line Cook is also responsible for setting up their station efficiently before service, coordinating cooking timings with other staff to maintain seamless kitchen operations, and ensuring every dish meets established quality control standards for taste, texture, and presentation. Maintaining cleanliness and proper maintenance of cooking equipment and the workstation is also critical in this position. Inventory management and communication with kitchen leads about ingredient stock status form part of the daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to foster a positive working environment and exhibit flexibility in adapting to various tasks in a busy, fast-paced kitchen setting.

                - One or more years of previous experience as a line cook or similar culinary role is preferred
