This position is an integral part of the Parkhurst Dining team, focused on ensuring health and sanitation standards are upheld in dishwashing operations. The role pays between $16 to $18 per hour and requires working nights and weekends. Responsibilities include running and maintaining dishwashing machines to thoroughly clean dishes, silverware, and other dining implements while following strict sanitary guidelines. The Dishroom Attendant must also perform cleaning of designated equipment and areas, maintain adequate supplies during service periods, and manage the cleanliness of the dish room itself. Adherence to chemical safety protocols, communication with management regarding product needs, and the use of proper uniform and hygiene standards are essential aspects of the role.
The position demands physical stamina, including standing or walking the entire shift and occasionally lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
