The Porter role at Gerber Collision & Glass is integral to delivering a seamless customer experience by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of both customer vehicles and facility spaces. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced automotive environment. The Porter is responsible for ensuring that vehicles are clean before and after repair, maintaining the orderly condition of the shop and office, and assisting with vehicle transport to sublet locations. The role supports Gerber’s WOW Operating Way (WOW) initiative, which focuses on operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This hourly position offers a competitive wage ranging from $14 to $19 depending on experience, skill level, and education. The Porter will work closely with the production and shop teams, playing a key role in the overall repair process by preparing vehicles for service and ensuring they are returned to customers in pristine condition. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a hands-on role within the automotive repair industry and are eager to develop their skills in a respected and growing company.
