The establishment is currently seeking a full-time Room Attendant to join their dedicated housekeeping team on the night shift. This role is vital in ensuring each guest room is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and order according to the hotel's policies and procedures. The Room Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional housekeeping services that contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests. This includes thoroughly cleaning all assigned rooms, replenishing amenities, and reporting maintenance and security issues promptly. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, is efficient, and pays meticulous attention to detail. They will work independently and as part of a team to keep the property clean, safe, and welcoming. In this role, the Room Attendant will clean a variety of surfaces such as bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors. They will also strip and make beds, manage bed linens, and handle rollaway beds and cribs. Maintaining neat and secure housekeeping storage closets and dusting furniture, window ledges, and shelves are also part of the daily duties. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the hotel and contribute to a positive guest experience through effective communication and responsiveness. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift bedspreads weighing up to 40 lbs
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work full-time night shifts
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to respond quickly to guest requests
