Reporting directly to the Resident Manager and Property Manager, the Porter collaborates closely with the maintenance team to address property upkeep and resident satisfaction. This position involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including the upkeep of both interior and exterior spaces such as business offices, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and customer service are paramount. The Porter is also responsible for embodying the values of world-class customer service by responding promptly and professionally to resident concerns and maintenance requests. This helps to foster a positive community atmosphere and ensures issues are addressed efficiently and effectively. Inventory control assistance and adherence to safety guidelines are integral parts of the role, ensuring that cleaning materials and equipment are used correctly and safely. The position requires physical stamina including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, navigate staircases, ladders, and step stools, and handle moderate physical exertion involving lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds.
