The role of Porter at The Pearl on Frankford in Dallas, TX, is a full-time position offering 30-40 hours per week with an hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $20.00. This position is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property’s exterior grounds and common areas, along with the interior shared spaces. The Porter will report directly to the Community Manager and plays a key role in ensuring that residents enjoy a well-maintained living environment. Responsibilities include general landscape upkeep, trash management during move-outs, maintaining parking areas, sidewalks, driveways, and handling tasks like cleaning pool areas and posting community notices. Beyond regular maintenance, the Porter will help uphold organizational standards and cleanliness within work areas and maintenance shops, contributing to a safe and welcoming community atmosphere. Ideal candidates for this role will bring prior experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, general maintenance, or janitorial services, along with familiarity with hand tools and cleaning equipment. Basic computer literacy is required to assist with job functions efficiently. Physical ability is essential since the job involves lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
