The Porter position at Asset Living plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and operational functionality of residential communities. This full-time role involves supporting the maintenance processes on-site, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance tasks. The Porter is primarily responsible for the upkeep of community grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas, ensuring all tasks align with the property’s operational objectives. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborating with the Community Manager, the Porter contributes significantly to community safety, cleanliness, and overall resident satisfaction. Duties focus on routine inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs, perform necessary repairs, manage cleanliness and trash removal, and stock maintenance supplies while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines. The role also includes participating in unit inspections and assisting with community emergency on-call needs. Beyond technical responsibilities, the Porter fosters excellent customer service practices by responding promptly to resident requests and helping enforce community policies.
