The Porter role at Asset Living is a critical position within the property's maintenance team, focusing on ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic quality of the community. The Porter supports maintenance operations by performing corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance tasks in alignment with the property's operational goals. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Porter plays an essential role in the make-ready process to prepare units for new residents. This position requires a strong emphasis on maintaining the appearance and functionality of community grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas, both interior and exterior. The Porter's responsibilities include regular cleaning, trash removal, timely response to resident and management requests, and routine inspections to address hazardous conditions or liability issues proactively. Maintaining safety standards and compliance with OSHA regulations are crucial components of the role, as well as supporting the hazard communications program and promoting safe work practices. The position demands consistent onsite attendance and a commitment to high-quality service to residents and property stakeholders. The Porter contributes to fostering positive resident relations by ensuring prompt and efficient service request resolutions and upholding community policies.
