The Porter is vital to maintaining the overall exterior appearance and functionality of Willow Bridge properties. Porters work closely with the on-site management team, ensuring the properties stay clean, attractive, and well-maintained. This involves regular inspections of the premises, trash removal, upkeep of mail rooms, sweeping floors, replacing lightbulbs, and addressing maintenance needs such as window screens and air filter replacements. The role extends to assisting with apartment make-readies, performing light painting, maintaining pool areas, and supporting service technicians and managers as needed. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 80-100 pounds regularly, as well as the ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines efficiently. Flexibility is crucial since the role may require being on-call for after-hours emergencies, and candidates may need to hold a valid driver’s license. The compensation for this role typically ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.
