The Porter role at Gerber Collision & Glass is essential in maintaining the quality and appearance of customer vehicles and shop facilities. This position supports the repair process by cleaning customer vehicles before and after repairs, ensuring a polished final product that aligns with the company’s WOW (Wow Operating Way) standards. Beyond vehicle detailing, the Porter assists with maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the shop and office environments, including tasks like waste removal, sweeping, and organizing tools and equipment. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities such as pre-washing vehicles before repairs, transporting vehicles to sublet locations, and performing general upkeep of the outdoor areas such as parking lots. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to providing excellent customer service. The compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $20 per hour and can be supplemented by bonus opportunities tied to individual or business performance initiatives. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
