The Porter role at Willow Bridge Property Company is an integral part of the onsite management team, responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and upkeep of the property's exterior. This position is critical in ensuring that the community presents a clean, inviting, and well-kept environment that residents can be proud to call home. The porter performs a variety of duties depending on the community’s size and age, with a focus on both routine maintenance and light repair tasks. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the property grounds, inspecting for trash and litter on a daily basis, maintaining common areas such as mail rooms, and replacing lightbulbs in breezeways and other facilities. The porter also assists with apartment make-ready tasks such as trash removal in vacant units, checking appliances and smoke detectors, caulking, and cleaning air conditioning vents, ensuring that new residents move into safe and fully functioning homes. Additional duties include pool area maintenance, light painting, and assisting service technicians or lead service managers as needed. Physical stamina is essential for this role, as it requires the ability to lift 80 to 100 pounds regularly and handle various manual tasks effectively. This full-time, hourly position typically pays between $20 and $21 per hour, providing competitive compensation in line with industry standards.
