The Porter role at Twin Oaks is an entry-level, part-time position critical to maintaining the resort’s high standards for cleanliness and general upkeep. This role supports the maintenance team by ensuring all areas of the resort, including community living spaces, fitness and spa areas, patios, and other amenities, meet strict cleanliness and operational standards. With an hourly wage of 20 dollars, this position offers a valuable introduction to facility maintenance within a supportive and dynamic team environment. The Porter works closely under the Facilities Manager to perform a variety of janitorial and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, and light repairs to maintain a welcoming environment. The role extends to maintaining pools, spas, and water features by cleaning and testing water quality regularly to ensure safety and aesthetics. Porters are also responsible for replacing light bulbs and ensuring the safe and proper arrangement of furniture and fitness equipment throughout the property. This position demands a strong customer service focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• one year experience in building maintenance preferred
• certified pool operator certification preferred
• bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• computer literate
• skilled in light maintenance, basic repairs, and project-based activities
