The role of Porter within our Environmental Services team is a critical position focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment throughout the Well-Spring community. The position requires a flexible and dependable individual to serve as a floating porter, meaning that the selected candidate will work throughout the entire building instead of being assigned to a specific floor or area. This allows them to address cleaning and maintenance needs wherever they arise, ensuring the entire community remains in top condition. Working from 6am to 2:30pm including one weekend every three weeks, the Porter will engage in a wide range of duties, including trash collection, floor care, cleaning common areas, and light maintenance tasks. This diversity of duty ensures that no two days are the same, making the role engaging and varied. The role also provides an opportunity to operate various cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and extraction tools, which are integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness expected at Well-Spring. • Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including one weekend every three weeks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and adapt to changing needs
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred
