The Pizza Cook position at the Save Mart Center offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts and food preparation within a fast-paced, dynamic venue environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be an integral member of the kitchen team reporting directly to the Executive Chef. In this hourly non-exempt role with a competitive wage of $16.50 per hour, you will be primarily responsible for preparing pizzas to meet facility standards while adhering to sanitary and safety guidelines. This position does not include supervisory duties but focuses heavily on maintaining organized workstations and producing high-quality food products efficiently. The successful candidate must be able to handle multiple cooking and preparation tasks, minimize food waste by following portion control procedures, and ensure all kitchen equipment is kept clean and operational. Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure in a team environment are essential for success in this role. Beyond food preparation, the Pizza Cook will actively contribute to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen area, complying with all health regulations and company policies. • Must be 18 years or older
• Graduated from high school or have GED
• At least 6 months experience in a pizza cook position
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
