The center operates a fleet including six King Air aircraft and two Citation V jets, primarily engaged in medevac and charter operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the dynamic and challenging environment of medical evacuation and charter flights across Montana, Wyoming, and other surrounding areas. The pilot position involves flying missions that include patient pick-ups from mountainous and remote locations, transporting them to major hubs like Salt Lake City or Denver, mostly using two-pilot crews that prioritize safety and quality training. Pilots at Edwards Jet Center enjoy a supportive work environment with schedules designed to balance work and personal life, such as a 7-on/7-off rotation in the medevac department, with plans to transition to a 6-on/9-off schedule.
