The role of Assistant Contract Manager at Constellis is critical to both the administration and operational success of the security program. This position involves supporting the Contract Manager in overseeing contract compliance while managing security personnel and day-to-day security operations. Candidates should be prepared to invest substantial time and effort during the initial 60 to 90 days to successfully launch and stabilize the program, after which the position will transition into a steady, day-to-day operational routine.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $125,000 per year and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The Assistant Contract Manager will have a direct line of communication with the Contract Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that Triple Canopy personnel adhere strictly to contract requirements, including quality of services, timeliness, cost control, and compliance with government reporting mandates. This position demands exceptional leadership skills, decision-making abilities, and the capacity to respond effectively to client needs and emergencies around the clock.
Key responsibilities include supervising and managing security officers, conducting internal investigations, safeguarding equipment and property, and collaborating closely with the client’s Security Operations Centers to maintain high program standards. The assistant will also oversee special events security services, manage access control, enforce standard operating procedures, and facilitate employee hiring and supplies. The role requires an individual capable of planning projects, developing contingencies, managing resources within budget, and representing Constellis professionally at all times.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic, often high-pressure environment with the need to occasionally work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role also involves exposure to physical and environmental challenges such as high noise levels, chemical exposure, and the need to perform physically demanding tasks.                 - Minimum of 3 years managing security officer personnel on a contract of similar size and complexity
 - Four years of law enforcement or four years of honorable military experience
 - Bachelor’s degree or substantial and verifiable law enforcement, military or business management experience
 - Fully computer literate with computer hardware and software
 - Two to four years of experience with advanced Excel features, workflow management software, and presentation design software
 - U.S. citizen with a valid Social Security card and valid state driver’s license
 - Must meet all medical and physical standards outlined in the contract
 - Must meet background screening, psychological, and drug screening requirements
 - Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English
