Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is a well-established leader in the cannabis industry, known for its commitment to promoting well-being through the power of cannabis. As a multi-state operator, GTI operates a network of cannabis dispensaries and cultivates a culture grounded in quality, inclusivity, and community impact. The company is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes and celebrates diversity across race, sex, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, experience, and thought. GTI not only prioritizes the wellness of its customers but also pledges to support economic opportunities in communities disproportionately affected by the war on drugs through employment and community engagement. This dedication to social responsibility, coupled with its mission to uphold all legal and regulatory standards, makes GTI a respected and dynamic employer in the evolving cannabis market. The Personal Care Specialist at GTI is a pivotal role that operates at the intersection of retail expertise and customer care. This position centers on delivering personalized service in an intimate, customer-facing retail environment within GTI dispensaries. Acting much like a knowledgeable guide or barista, the Personal Care Specialist is expected to establish meaningful connections with patients and customers from the moment they enter the dispensary until they complete their purchase. The role involves a deep mastery of the company’s product line, including understanding various cannabis products and methods of consumption. The Personal Care Specialist uses this expertise to educate and recommend tailored cannabis regimens that align with each patient or customer's unique needs, ensuring safety and satisfaction. Moreover, this role involves ensuring compliance with local and state cannabis regulations, fostering a positive and communicative workplace atmosphere, and supporting smooth retail operations. The responsibilities range from verifying deliveries and maintaining sales floor inventory to upholding store presentation standards and handling security and safety protocols. The position requires flexibility, with duties spanning front-of-house tasks such as customer check-in, sales floor management, and point of sale operations, to back-of-house functions like inventory fulfillment and receiving. Candidates for this role should bring at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in specialty retail, and demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic. The job demands individuals who can engage with customers effectively, stay informed about evolving cannabis knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative and patient-centered work environment. Physical requirements include the ability to move throughout the dispensary, operate technology systems, and handle inventory up to 30 pounds. GTI places a strong emphasis on integrity, professionalism, and compliance, including adherence to HIPAA privacy standards and cannabis laws. Importantly, while prior experience in cannabis is advantageous, it is not mandatory, making this role accessible for those eager to grow and learn within the industry. Overall, the Personal Care Specialist role at GTI offers a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven company that values humility, hard work, transparency, and continuous growth. It is suited for individuals who are passionate about cannabis, committed to exceptional service, and interested in advancing their career in a fast-growing and socially impactful sector.
