A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice is a specialized arm within the firm focused on assisting middle market and large cap private equity firms. The practice is geared toward optimizing operating results in portfolio companies through tailored, functional expertise. PEPI services extend across multiple domains including Aerospace, Defense, Aviation & Space, Transformation Services, Manufacturing Operations Improvement, Interim Management, M&A Services, Supply Chain, and CFO Services. The Director role within Alvarez & Marsal’s Aerospace, Defense & Aviation & Space group is a pivotal leadership position. This role involves spearheading large, multifaceted client engagements, working closely with ADAS leadership to engineer and execute cutting-edge business solutions. The Director is responsible for managing time-sensitive projects, coordinating teams, and driving performance improvements from strategic conception through implementation.
Candidates stepping into this role will apply their expertise in areas such as direct and indirect cost transparency, margin management, pricing strategies, sales and marketing effectiveness, supply chain optimization, process improvement, and organizational restructuring. The position demands sharp analytical abilities, strong client engagement skills, and proficiency in data analytics tools like Excel and PowerPoint. Critical thinking, initiative, and the ability to consistently deliver timely and quality results are essential attributes.
