Their commitment to innovation and quality has positioned them as a leader in the Asian dining market, attracting a loyal customer base as well as new patrons looking for a unique and satisfying meal experience. Pei Wei Asian Kitchen operates in a competitive industry that requires strong leadership and exceptional management to uphold the brand's reputation and drive growth across its locations. The General Manager role at Pei Wei Asian Kitchen is a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring the operational success of their designated restaurant location. Key competencies for the role include sales building, conflict management, team building, and emotional intelligence, all vital to success in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The General Manager also plays a significant role in financial management, overseeing food and labor costs, maintaining profit and loss accountability, managing inventory, and administering payroll, invoicing, and cash handling. Beyond day-to-day management, the General Manager serves as a goodwill ambassador within the community, championing the Pei Wei brand and its values. This role demands proficiency in performance management tools to complete employee evaluations and provide constructive feedback. The duty to ensure compliance with all federal and state safety, sanitation regulations, and to maintain facility upkeep through regular maintenance repairs cannot be overstated. Work conditions require physical stamina, including standing for long periods, reaching, bending, and lifting objects up to 30 pounds. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a thriving restaurant team while driving business objectives and customer satisfaction.
