The Fatima House location is currently seeking a Cook II to join the team in a part-time capacity, offering a consistent wage of $18.00 per hour. This role involves working morning shifts with varying days and rotating weekends, with specific scheduling details provided during the interview. As a Cook II, you will play a vital role in food preparation by creating nutritious and delicious meals with a strong focus on quality customer service. The position requires a team-oriented individual who is adaptable, reliable, and committed to reducing food waste while upholding a safe and healthy working environment. You will prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items across different meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events.
A Cook II at Sodexo is also expected to follow recipes and product directions meticulously to ensure meal quality and safety standards are met consistently. The role might also have responsibilities that include serving customers at an a la carte or grill station, supporting management with daily oversight of kitchen operations and staff, and maintaining punctuality and attendance discipline. Although duties may evolve according to specific client needs and account requirements, the core focus remains on providing exceptional culinary service and enhancing the customer dining experience.
