The role available is for a Front of House (FOH) team member, responsible for accommodating guests' needs by greeting them promptly and professionally, providing detailed information about the menu and the dining experience, colloquially known as "How to Pei Wei." This position requires fulfilling guest orders for dining in, take away, or phone and online orders, ensuring these requests are handled efficiently and accurately. The individual in this role is vital in creating a positive first impression, maintaining an organized and welcoming front-of-house area, and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant. They will manage the setup, maintenance, and closing duties for the FOH in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs), including processing payments, handling POS systems, and managing cash and credit transactions. This job involves working under various environmental conditions, including warm kitchen temperatures, and requires physical stamina for standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting during shifts. The candidate should be comfortable working in a team environment, remain calm and effective under pressure, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system
• Understanding of English language
• Basic math skills and computer proficiency
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Must be able to stand and walk for periods of four to ten hours in length each shift
• Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift
• Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
• Must be able to see at 20/20 vision with correction
