This position of Aircraft Records Specialist is vital in maintaining the accuracy and regulatory compliance of all aircraft, engine, and component records for both helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft. The role focuses extensively on managing aircraft logbooks, tracking airworthiness directives and service bulletin compliance, as well as monitoring life-limited components to ensure all documentation is current and adheres strictly to company and federal aviation regulations. The Aircraft Records Specialist is responsible for conducting daily audits of maintenance entries to ensure the digital maintenance record database reflects all maintenance activities accurately. This includes converting physical aircraft records to digital formats for efficient archiving and retrieval, reviewing aircraft hours and cycles for accuracy, and verifying the correctness of component removals and replacements with attention to part and serial numbers.
The individual in this position will also research and manage historical records for aircraft, perform periodic audits to confirm completeness and accuracy of maintenance logs, and serve as a resource for field personnel by resolving record-keeping discrepancies. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and an understanding of technical manuals and regulatory documents related to aviation maintenance. The position is non-supervisory and requires regular attendance with no travel obligations. Candidates with prior aviation experience, particularly with military record-keeping backgrounds, are preferred, and an A&P license is an advantage. The company offers competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour alongside industry-leading benefits. - One to three years of related experience and/or training
- Previous aviation experience
- Ability to perform daily audits of maintenance entries
