The Food Service Worker role at Levy involves preparing food in strict adherence to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring that all food service operations maintain high quality, safety, and cleanliness levels. This is a hands-on role that requires following standardized recipes, practicing correct portioning, monitoring food temperatures, and producing visually appealing and tasty meals. Workers are responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, properly storing food items, operating kitchen equipment safely, and supporting inventory processes such as ordering and receiving supplies. The role also emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a personal commitment to maintaining safety standards for oneself and coworkers. Levy places an emphasis on using appropriate safety gear, such as cut gloves and slip-resistant shoes, to minimize workplace accidents. Moreover, food service workers participate in safety and in-service meetings and comply with all company policies.
