Currently, The Beacon Grand is seeking to expand its team by hiring a Part-Time Server. This role is essential to ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service in the hotel's restaurant, contributing greatly to overall guest satisfaction and profitability. The server will deliver knowledgeable and friendly service while expertly managing dining transactions and maintaining a professional appearance. Emphasis is placed on the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and personalities to sustain a high level of quality service. The server will be trained to describe menu items vividly to guests, answer questions clearly, and provide responsible alcohol service. Proficiency with a Point of Sale system, preferably Micros, is expected to accurately handle transactions. This position not only demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills but also encourages a positive team approach to maintain efficient food and beverage service. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Proficiency with POS systems preferred
• Ability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to present a professional appearance and wear required uniform and footwear
