We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our administration team. This is a pivotal position reporting directly to the Business Office Manager, responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, residents, and callers, providing exemplary customer service at all times. The role requires performing various administrative support functions efficiently and in accordance with established procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to make independent decisions, and handle potentially sensitive or challenging situations with tact and professionalism. The Receptionist's essential duties include welcoming visitors, residents, and vendors courteously while managing visitor information and directing individuals to appropriate locations. Managing inbound telephone calls and internal requests ensures smooth communication within the community. The role demands maintaining resident information confidentially and securely while identifying and addressing security concerns when necessary. Additional administrative tasks such as typing, copying, filing, sorting mail, ordering supplies, and assisting with other clerical duties are integral to this position. The receptionist is also expected to ethically handle small monetary transactions, document and resolve concerns, and uphold a clean, professional work environment. Participation in ongoing service training programs is an essential component of maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.   • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in a clerical position or successful completion of a secretarial science program from an accredited school or college preferred

  • Ability to deal tactfully with diverse groups including ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and potentially hostile individuals
