The role of Cleaner at ABM involves providing comprehensive cleaning and upkeep services for assigned facilities in a manner that adheres to the company’s high safety, quality, and compliance standards. This is an entry-level position perfectly suited for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce without prior experience, as ABM provides full on-the-job training. The position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $18.00 per hour. The cleaning schedule runs Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a consistent work routine conducive to work-life balance. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of buildings and facilities by using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment carefully to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures. The Cleaner will also perform duties such as dusting furniture, cleaning floors, walls, glass partitions, restrooms, and food areas. Seasonal tasks like sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, or removing snow may also be part of the job. Effective communication is essential as the Cleaner coordinates with supervisors, managers, clients, and co-workers to maintain a pleasant and safe environment.
