Through efficient reception duties and program assistance, we help ensure our Early Childhood Division can serve the community effectively and with empathy.
This role offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional requirements to extend up to 5:00 PM. The candidate we seek will be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities independently, helping to maintain an organized and efficient office atmosphere. The role centers around direct interaction with parents, staff, and community representatives, requiring excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor. Being bilingual in Spanish is essential due to the diverse community we serve, allowing for effective translation and better engagement with Spanish-speaking families.
As part of the Early Childhood Division, this position carries the responsibility of managing critical administrative operations including responding to inquiries, managing the telephone and door security systems, maintaining appointment calendars, and assisting with enrollment. The role also involves document preparation, database management for program requirements, and collaboration through participation in staff meetings. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a variety of administrative functions and direct interaction with the public in a supportive educational environment.
