We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Conference Services Manager to join our Sales & Marketing Department. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000 per year, along with additional commissions that reflect the dynamic nature of the position. The ideal candidate will work closely with our motivated and experienced team, supporting a robust hospitality operation that values excellence and client-focused service.
The Conference Services Manager will play a pivotal role in managing events at the hotel, acting as the crucial link between clients and the hotel’s various departments. Responsibilities include creating banquet event orders (BEOs), ensuring contracts are honored, and maximizing event revenues through upselling opportunities. The candidate will need to exhibit exceptional communication skills, outstanding customer service abilities, and maintain a proactive approach to managing client relations. Duties extend to overseeing the daily catering operations, including scheduling, payroll, recruitment, planning, controlling, and analyzing departmental activities. This role demands someone comfortable operating under pressure with minimal supervision while juggling multiple priorities effectively.
The successful individual will also take on on-site client engagements, including greeting guests and confirming logistical details of events such as setup and food and beverage requirements.
