The Parking Representative position, operating under the guidance of the Parking Manager and Supervisor, is a dynamic and multifaceted role within the Transportation Department at UCSF. This position involves performing a variety of critical functions such as valet services, customer service ambassador duties, garage rover responsibilities, traffic direction, and parking enforcement. The Parking Representative acts in strict adherence to UCSF’s Transportation Department procedures, policies, and the comprehensive Transportation Department Operations manual. This role is not only operational but also ambassadorial, often serving as a greeter and frontline representative of UCSF’s transportation programs and services. Flexibility is essential for this job, as representatives need to be prepared to work at any UCSF location on short notice and be available for overtime work as needed. The hourly wage for this role ranges between $20.89 and $28.12, with final placement dependent on experience, internal equity, and union agreements where applicable. - High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of valet or parking industry experience
- Valid California driver’s license with excellent driving record without restrictions other than corrective lenses
- Ability to operate manual, automatic, and electric vehicles in tight spaces
