The position available is for a Parking Attendant in the Operations/Parking Department at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. This is an hourly role paying $15.50 per hour. In this critical role, the Parking Attendant is responsible for managing the flow of vehicles in the amphitheatre’s internal parking areas during scheduled events. This includes assisting with the organization of parking spaces, directing vehicles to appropriate lots and areas based on parking passes or permits (such as stage crew or venue guests), and helping ensure a smooth and efficient traffic flow. They also provide courteous customer service by assisting patrons with general venue and event information, contributing to a positive guest experience from the moment they arrive. The role demands the ability to read and understand event-specific notes before each event, adapt to changing traffic patterns by setting up or breaking down roadblocks and signage, and coordinate with parking supervisors, Town of Cary staff, and other venue employees as necessary. The position requires standing for extended periods in all weather conditions, physical activity including lifting up to 30 pounds, and the capability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as events demand.
