The Medical Support Specialist role at BioLife Plasma Services is critical to supporting the operational and medical aspects of plasma donation centers. Reporting to the Plasma Center Manager and working closely with the Center Physician, the Medical Support Specialist ensures donor eligibility, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves performing medical evaluations, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory results, and communicating any unsuitable test findings to donors. The specialist is also responsible for supporting environmental health and safety initiatives and employee wellness programs such as vaccination drives. This full-time, exempt position is based in Villa Park, Illinois, offering an hourly wage range from $26.15 to $35.96 depending on qualifications and experience. The role requires coordination with multiple teams to maintain the health and well-being of donors, employees, and the community.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
  • Current license or certification as EMT-Paramedic in the state of responsibility
  • Current CPR and AED certification
  • Completion of FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training
  • Minimum two years clinical or hospital setting experience
