The successful candidate will be responsible for operating chopper guns to apply resin and fiberglass in constructing hulls, decks, and small parts, adhering to detailed engineering specifications. The role demands meticulous attention to maintaining consistent laminate thickness, managing labor and parts flow, and potentially leading a small team of laminators. Working hours typically encompass four 10-hour days per week, with flexibility required for weekend or adjusted shifts based on workload demands. • minimum of 6 months to 1 year fiberglass lamination instruction experience required, 3 years preferred
• ability to read and understand blueprints
• ability to read and understand production schedule
• basic computer skills
• good verbal communication skills
• ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual
• ability to work in a hot and dusty environment using protective clothing and respirator if needed
• ability to pass a respirator fit test
