Situated in Birmingham, AL, this role is available on a full-time or part-time basis with hourly wages ranging from $10.00 to $12.00 plus daily cash tips, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and being active. The primary responsibility of the valet attendant is to deliver friendly, efficient, and safe valet services while ensuring the security of guest vehicles. This includes welcoming guests warmly, performing vehicle inspections to document any damages, parking and retrieving vehicles safely, and managing traffic flow in a professional manner. As the public face of PMC at the valet station, the attendant must maintain a clean and organized valet area to sustain a professional appearance. The role requires adherence to company policies, punctuality, and wearing the company uniform at all times. Attendants must also be cooperative team players, ready to assist with various operational tasks beyond valet duties as needed. Given the physical nature of the job, attendants should be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, working conditions may include outdoor environments with varying weather and active traffic, necessitating a responsible approach to safety and professionalism. PMC values individuals who possess a helpful attitude and strong customer service mindset. A high school diploma or GED is required, with previous customer service experience preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, maintain a clean motor vehicle record, and successfully pass a background check. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay, including compliance with relevant wage and labor laws. Joining the PMC team means access to a variety of benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance upon eligibility, 401K plans, life and critical illness insurance, paid training, tuition assistance, and bonus opportunities. PMC fosters a supportive work environment with an internal leadership development program and a commitment to pay transparency and equity.
