The role of Receptionist at Claridge Court is an integral part of the Customer Service team, designed for individuals who possess a warm, professional demeanor and a passion for helping others. This position offers a pay range of $15.16 to $20.85 hourly and involves working primarily Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:15 PM, with occasional weekend shifts. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and team members, making each interaction meaningful and efficient.
Receptionists at Claridge Court greet and assist all visitors in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring that visitors sign in properly and their visits are validated. They are responsible for promptly answering communication devices and transferring messages accurately to the relevant parties. The position requires performing minor financial transactions, such as selling stamps and community food certificates, and managing communication during severe weather events via paging systems or calls.
Additional responsibilities include receiving and distributing mail and deliveries, supporting administrative functions for supervisors, residents, and guests, maintaining up-to-date informational materials for residents, and managing the set-up and close-down procedures of the front desk area.
