The Server role at IAH George Bush Intercontinental Airport offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of this hospitality revolution. Servers are essential in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering OTG’s signature steps of service with precision, warmth, and efficiency. This position requires a high level of guest interaction, as Servers are responsible for greeting guests, guiding them through the OTG ordering and payment system, and recommending menu items tailored to their preferences, dietary restrictions, and allergies. Servers hold a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas while working closely with Chefs and Managers to guarantee timely food delivery.
Additionally, Servers must adhere to OTG's cash handling and safety policies, participate in ongoing training sessions, support team members, and promptly communicate guest feedback or concerns to the management team. The ability to monitor guest behavior, including identifying intoxicated guests, and reporting inventory or equipment issues to leadership ensures smooth operations and a safe environment for all patrons. The role demands flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and challenging weather conditions, recognizing the highly dynamic nature of airport hospitality.
The compensation model for this position includes an hourly rate of $2.13 plus tips, reflecting standard practices within the hospitality sector at airports. - 1-2 years of experience as a server
- must be at least 18 years of age
- fluent+ fully conversational in English
- must become TIPS certified within 90 days of employment

- must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions
