The role being offered is a part-time position as a Food Service Cook, reporting to the Managing Chef. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation in the cafeteria, catering services, and patient meals. The Food Service Cook participates actively in delivering outstanding customer service, fostering respectful relationships, and upholding the core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork. Responsibilities include preparing foods according to recipes and safety guidelines, monitoring food quality and freshness, maintaining proper storage and sanitation practices, and ensuring production deadlines are consistently met. The position also involves assisting with customer service to deliver a world-class dining experience.

The Food Service Cook contributes to cost-conscious practices by minimizing food waste and ensuring proper portion control.
