The role of Facility Custodian at GRTC is integral to maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the company’s buildings and grounds. Under the guidance of a Facility Concierge Supervisor or Facility Custodian Team Lead, custodians ensure that facilities are welcoming, safe, and hygienic for both staff and the public. The position involves daily custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing floors, dusting, cleaning windows and mirrors, sanitizing restrooms, and managing waste removal. Custodians use a variety of cleaning chemicals and power equipment with a strong focus on safety and adherence to protocols. Additionally, the role requires attention to detail for polishing building fixtures, shampooing carpets, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.                 - Knowledge of standard cleaning methods, materials, and safety rules
 - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motion for extended periods
 - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and climb stairs as required
 - Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation
 - Familiarity with custodial tools and power equipment (vacuums, buffers, etc.)
