The role of Operations Coordinator at Chapman Ranch Wind, a key renewable energy asset managed by Enbridge, offers a unique opportunity to support the safe and reliable operation of wind generation facilities. This is a regular full-time, non-union position focused on maintaining the operational integrity of generation assets while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing safety protocols, managing compliance programs, and supporting day-to-day operational activities alongside plant management and service teams. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance activities for balance of plant equipment like turbine switchgear, substations, transmission lines, and emergency generators, as well as participating in safety audits, event recording, and inventory management. In addition, the Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the site’s NERC Compliance Program and environmental commitments at the county, state, and federal levels. This position requires diligent attention to operational plans and budgets to ensure asset uptime and reliability. A proactive, meticulous, and collaborative approach is essential, as is willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours and weekend coverage. Candidates are expected to handle SCADA, substation, and collection system alarms, dispatch resources effectively, and uphold a culture of safety and incident-free workplace practices. • 3-5 years of industrial process plant experience
• Wind generation and high voltage electrical systems experience is an asset
• Hold technical trade education or certification
• Electrical field education or certification is a strong plus
• Willing and able to participate in an on-call rotation
• Meet physical fitness requirements including ability to ascend and descend wind towers, comply with climbing weight restrictions
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working in enclosed spaces and at heights of up to 300 ft
• Pass various background screening including driving record, criminal check, medical and drug testing
