The Day Porter position at RCS is a vital role responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all areas within the school campus. This position contributes significantly to creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Tasks include vacuuming classrooms, offices, and hallways; sweeping and mopping floors; sanitizing bathrooms, lockers, and common areas; maintaining cleaning equipment; and performing minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and painting. The Day Porter also assists in snow removal and supports the setup and cleanup for school activities. This role requires the ability to manage multiple duties efficiently, work both independently and as part of a team, and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols. The hourly wage for this position is $18, and full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. • Ability to work indoor and outdoor environment with some exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, steam, controlled and hazardous substances
