The barista will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. They are tasked with greeting guests warmly, delivering excellent customer service, and providing informed recommendations about menu options and beverage products. Additionally, the Barista will manage money handling responsibilities, including making change and processing credit card transactions, while maintaining cleanliness and adhering strictly to opening and closing protocols. Candidates will typically have prior barista experience in similar environments and demonstrate strong customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities. Basic math competence for money handling and possession of a State Food Handler’s License are also required. The role demands availability during the weekend, specifically Sunday through Monday from 6 am to 1:30 pm, aligning with peak service times.
